Third and final volume in the second of two separate series featuring Duke Dorian Hawkmoon von Köln, The Quest For Tanelorn is a remarkable interweaving of all previous Eternal Champion plots, leading to a truly monumental and breathtaking climax. It was collected in The Chronicles Of Castle Brass (1985), the Count Brass omnibus (1993) and Hawkmoon: Count Brass (2013) with Count Brass and The Champion Of Garathorm (both 1973) One of its sections was retold, from Elric’s viewpoint, as a part of the novel, The Sailor On The Seas Of Fate (1976).
