Jerry Cornelius — the ambiguous, amoral, androgynous English Assassin —
An omnibus containing two Cornelius titles — The Adventures Of Una Perrson And Catherine Cornelius In The Twentieth Century (1976) and ‘The Alchemist’s Question’ (originally published in the 1984 collection, The Opium General And Other Stories) — both supplementary to the Cornelius tetralogy. Despite containing the only American appearance of ‘The Alchemist’s Question’, this volume is somewhat (minorly) flawed by the absence of that title’s illustrations.
Contents:-
p. 1: The Adventures Of Una Perrson And Catherine Cornelius In The Twentieth Century (as Book I: The Adventures Of Una Perrson And Catherine Cornelius In The Twentieth Century on title page [1]);
p. 207: ‘The Alchemist’s Question’ (as ‘Book II: The Alchemist’s Question: Being The Final Episode In The Career Of The English Assassin’ on title page [207]).
