Elric of Melniboné — proud prince of ruins, kinslayer — call him what you will. He remains, together with maybe Jerry Cornelius, Moorcock’s most enduring, if not always most endearing, character…
The Jade Man’s Eyes is a short, original novella which, when revised in order to bring it in line with the developing Elric series, was absorbed into The Sailor On The Seas Of Fate (1976) as ‘Sailing To The Past’. It was also, in its original form, later collected in Elric: To Rescue Tanelorn (2008).
