The British edition of Science Fiction Adventures magazine was preceded by twelve issues of an American edition (see above), and began life mostly comprised of stories reprinted from the American edition before going on to publish its own original material; to quote Michael Moorcock: “somewhat at odds with its title, [S.F.A.] published some of the most thoughtful British SF)”.
