Michael Moorcock’s Multiverse is an original graphic novel, although it might also be viewed as three novels combined, ultimately weaving its separate narrative strands (each illustrated by a different artist) into one cohesive whole. It was first serialised in twelve parts (1997/’98) — see below — before being published as a single-volume omnibus. The script of one of the three strands (Duke Elric, textual form) was later collected in the Duke Elric omnibus (2009), then in 2023 the whole graphic novel was republished in two volumes, slightly retitled as Moorcock’s Multiverse.
