Leggende Alla Fine Del Tempo is an Italian anthology of the three novellas comprising the Legends From The End Of Time collection (1976) together with a fourth, ‘Constant Fire’ — see below — all four having originally appeared in New Worlds Quarterly, and all linked to what is probably Moorcock’s best-loved trilogy, ‘The Dancers At The End Of Time’; this combined-title edition is unique, with no English-language equivalent.
Contents:-
p. 2: ‘Presentazioni’ (non-fiction) by Giuesppe Lippi;
p. 4: ‘Rose Pallide’ (‘Pale Roses’);
p. 41: ‘Stelle Bianche’(‘White Stars’);
p. 81: ‘Ombre Antiche’(‘Ancient Shadows’);
p. 151: ‘Fuoco Constante’ (‘Constant Fire’).
N.B. It is believed that this collection is the first and only appearance of the novella ‘Constant Fire’, since its initial 1976 appearance in New Worlds Quarterly, as in 1977 it was expanded to novel length as The Transformation Of Miss Mavis Ming.
