An omnibus of the three novellas comprising the Legends From The End Of Time collection (1976) together with Constant Fire (a revision of The Transformation Of Miss Mavis Ming [1977], itself an expansion of the 1976 novella ‘Constant Fire’) and another novella, ‘Elric At The End Of Time’ (1981), all linked to what is probably Moorcock’s best-loved trilogy, ‘The Dancers At The End Of Time’. The first editions, however, were seriously flawed, containing only the final, revised chapter Constant Fire, and none of the preceding sixteen which were inadvertently (not to mention unforgivably) left out. Also absent were the crucial last three paragraphs of ‘Elric At The End Of Time’; these massive errors were rectified in subsequent editions (see below). The restored omnibus was expanded in 2014, retitled as Tales From The End Of Time (not to be confused with a 1989 omnibus of the same name [q.v.]).
