The last (or latest?) in a long line of retitled omnibuses of the first of two separate trilogies featuring Corum Jhaelen Irsei, collecting The Knight Of The Swords, The Queen Of The Swords and The King Of The Swords (all 1971). Starting life as The Swords Trilogy (1977), it was first retitled as The Swords Of Corum (1986) then as Corum (1992), followed (with minor textual amendments / revisions) by Corum: The Coming Of Chaos (1996/’97). Its first appearance as Corum: The Prince In The Scarlet Robe reproduced the text of the first edition of Corum: The Coming Of Chaos, before being further revised in 2013.
It should be noted that the name Corum Jhaelen Irsei is an anagram of Jeremiah Cornelius.
